Ernst Kick, CEO of Spielwarenmesse eG, touched down in Toronto, last Monday, to talk about show business. German International Toy Show business, that is!
As head of Spielwaren-messe, which is the long-time owner/organizer of the world’s largest annual toy exhibition, the personable Kick was in town to promote the many features of next year’s giant trade event, aka Nürnberg Toy Fair.
The Spielwarenmesse International Toy Fair, held February 3-8 in Nürnberg, confirmed its status as the largest toy trade event in the world, along with its reputation as the place to go for innovative product.
Attendance at the 2011 Fair increased by three percent over last year, with 79,000 visitors coming primarily from neighbouring European countries, but also from as far away as Canada, Australia and Hong Kong.
