Visitors to the 2016 Insights-X, Germany’s hot new stationery fair (October 6-9), will receive an exclusive sneak peek at some up-and-coming toys that most won’t get to see until next February’s Nürnberg Toy Fair rolls around.
Spielwarenmesse, the well-known organizer of Insights-X, announced a Toy Preview will run for two days (October 6 and 7) as part of the second annual stationery fair which will showcase over 200 vendors of everything from office supplies to writing utensils and creative items.
While Insight-X exhibitors will, of course, account for the biggest percentage of floor space in the Nürnberg Exhibition Centre, about 20 toy companies will reveal their latest products and 2017 marketing campaigns in the Centre’s roomy Hall 12.2.
The Toy Preview, which was also part of last year’s inaugural Insights-X, was introduced for several reasons, says a Spielwarenmesse spokesman. “It enables central buyers, buying groups, licensors and journalists from the specialist toy press from Germany, Austria and Switzerland to meet the managing directors and representatives of the big companies.
“The exhibitors at this event welcome comments that help them fine-tune their concepts and incorporate market wishes into the final product development phase. Central buyers and wholesalers gain exclusive insights into the latest trends in the toy industry,” he added.
