More than 34,000 buyers -- a record attendance -- journeyed to the 2011 Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair, announced a spokesman for the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), organizer of the annual event. The Fair drew visitors from as far away as the U.S., Australia and the U.K., with attendance from some emerging countries like India, Russia and Vietnam rising by as much as 60 percent. Canadians Among 2,000-plus Exhibitors at 2012 HK Toy Fair

Four Canadian companies are among the more than 2,000 vendors exhibiting at the 2012 Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair, which kicks off the annual trade show season on January 9.
B.C.’s Relaxus Products Ltd., Quebec’s Trudeau Corp., Nano Magnetics Ltd. and Round 5 Corp., both based in the GTA, will join exhibitors from countries, including India, Russia, Netherlands, U.K. and Italy. However, it’s still top-notch vendors from China, Hong Kong, and other parts of Asia that make up the largest demographic of participants in the HK Fair — now the second largest trade event in the world.

Hong Kong Fair Woos Visitors with Latest Smart-Tech Toys
More than 2,000 vendors exhibited at the 2014 Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair.
Last week, over 106,000 visitors passed through the doors of the Hong Kong Convention Centre where the 40th Hong Kong Toys and Games Fair and its three smaller “sister” shows took place.
That figure represents a five percent jump over 2013 attendance, says Hong Kong Trade Development Council, the long-time organizer of the four exhibitions. While buyers from emerging markets like the Middle East showed the largest increase, Canada – considered a mature market – also sent a bigger contingent of visitors this year.
