The 2012 Canadian Toy & Hobby Fair featured almost 70 exhibitors, displaying everything from computer apps to plush zebras.

After a three-day run, the 2012 Canadian Toy & Hobby Fair closed to mixed reviews. The annual fair — now in its 72nd year — took place January 29-31 in the Toronto International Centre, running simultaneously with the CGTA’s larger Spring Gift Show, also housed in a nearby hall of the Centre.

The 73rd edition of the Canadian Toy & Hobby Fair, this country’s largest toy trade event, got off to a sluggish start. Hosting about 70 vendors, the venerable show opened a three-day run on January 27 in a new location -- Hall 4 & 4A of Toronto’s International Centre.
