Rusty Rivets, Spin Master Entertainment’s much-anticipated new animated TV series for preschoolers, is scheduled to hit the small screen soon.
The first of the 26 half-hour-long episodes will begin screening on the U.S.’s Nickelodeon network on August 22 and later this fall in Canada on Treehouse TV. (NickJr.com has already launched two online games inspired by the show.)
Based in Toronto, Spin Master Entertainment started development of the STEM-inspired series two years ago. Designed to encourage creative problem solving and to introduce science- and technology-related concepts, the series centres around Rusty, a 10-year-old tech-savy youngster who uses his engineering skills and imagination to recycle old machine parts into cool gadgets. Along with a trusty team of robots, Rusty goes on adventures, often saving the day with his inventions.
Not surprising, Spin Master also announced a Rusty Rivets toy line is in development with a scheduled launch in fall 2017. For more information, contact Spin Master Ltd.
