After many months away from Canadian retailers’ shelves, Bratz, the iconic doll brand, is back.
Earlier this week, MGA Entertainment Canada relaunched the best-selling dolls, who were famous for their big lips and even-bigger shoes.
Along with the previous four core characters — Cloe, Yasmin, Jade, and Sasha — the revamped collection now includes a new member, Raya.
Featuring a reinvented look with appeal for a new generation of girls, each doll comes with her own tech-inspired accessories, including a smartphone and two phone cases. The line also connects with girls through up-beat animated YouTube content, an engaging digital app (launching soon on the iTunes App Store and Google Play), a Bratz emoji pack, and activity playsets, such as Create-It-Yourself Fashion Set.
While the line has always encouraged an attitude of self-expression, diversity, individuality, confidence and creativity, the revamped brand builds on that positive message, explains Isaac Larian, CEO of MGA Entertainment. “What makes the new Bratz collection so unique is that we’ve also included immersive ways for girls to create their own worlds physically and digitally. Bratz is back to arm girls with the confidence to know that it’s good to be yourself,” he said.
