Stopper on Dollarama water bottles may break off.

Health Canada is warning consumers who’ve purchased children’s licensed plastic water bottles at Dollarama discount stores to remove them from children’s use and dispose of them. According to HC’s just-released advisory/recall notice, the stopper in the bottle’s pull-up-style drinking spout may break off, posing a choking hazard to small children.

Nearly 350,000 of the made-in-China, Faigie-brand bottles (model number 10-3003582), featuring Dora the Explorer, Spider-Man and Sesame Street themes, have been sold since 2007. Health Canada says it has received only one complaint from a consumer, however no injuries relating to the affected bottles have been reported.

For more information, consumers may contact Dollarama, which is headquartered in Quebec, by phone 1-888-755-1006 or email.
